Leading Passion Conference
The Leading Passion conference was aiming at increasing the capabilities of Finnish companies to lead their employees’ passion at work, to create cultures of engagement, and to enhance their competitiveness in the post-industrial era. The project provided organizations with online tools for cultural assessment and recruitment.
Promotion events for Golla
The aim of the project was to raise awareness among the young and creative generation and do market research in Russia, Finland and the Netherlands. In total the students organized 2 events on Haaga-Helia Porvoo Campus and Pasila Campus, 2 events at partner universities in Netherlands and one event combined with extensive workshops at universities in St. Petersburg. All events featured a catwalk presenting a range of Golla bags and collecting feedback from the audience.
ILOA ELÄMÄÄN (Bring joy to life)
Iloa elämään event is the biggest event for children and youngsters aged 2-16 suffering from rheumatism or MSD. It is a joyful day full of happiness and laughter, adventures and excitement. For families with children suffering from rheumatism or MSD everyday life is often challenging and painful, so this event strived to balance daily routines by offering a well-earned break. In addition, participants were able to find peer support and learn more about the disease from medical experts.
Connect to the future - alumni event
The event for former students of Haaga-Helia Porvoo Campus was a perfect opportunity for them to reconnect with alma mater, friends and classmates. They had a chance to network and to improve their presentation skills as the special gueasts Elina Stirkkinen and Stella Polaris held workshops: How to tell your story?
NBForum Goes Local
Nordic Business Forum (NBF) is an annual event which has been held since 2009 and over the years it has been growing to be one of the most significant business seminars in Europe. The event is mainly held in Messukeskus, Helsinki. But it is also followed by peo-ple watching it live in different cities, but not in Porvoo. Thus this year, Aktia bank in Porvoo and Posintra Oy decided to bring live stream of the Nordic Business Forum to Porvoo in order to create not only a chance for people to watch the event live, but also a place for entrepreneurs, businesses and students from local in-stitutes within Itä-uusimaa area to come and network.
Encounters 15 Conference
The unconventional conference offered workshop and presentations in four distinctive themes: Service Design; Caring and Touch - Human Body in Health and Wellness; Integrating Education and RDI for Empowered Wellness and Life-Style; Movement and Arts in Services and Care. The students were behind all event logistics and event design. They also prepared additional unexpected encounters for participants like wellness lounge with massages and simple spa treatments or flash mob during a coffee break.
